My name is Shirley, I am a Certified Somatic Movement Teacher, Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, Certified Trauma Healing Practitioner, Certified in Holistic Pain Management, and published author of The Letter to My Heart. A book dedicated to my journey navigating with grief and loss.
I came to this work through loss. As a bereaved mother, grief was not something I could outrun or overcome and i tried. I had to learn to start healing from the inside of the wound. Every modality I teach, I have lived. That is not a credential. That is a calling.
Our four-body framework addresses the whole of you: the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body, and the energy body. Healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about nourishing what has been neglected and giving your body the new experiences it needs to build new pathways forward.
You are not broken. You never were.
My work is not to erase your pain, but to help you walk through it, and walk with it, so you can transform it, release what you were never meant to hold, and discover a strength in yourself you may not have known was there.
You have spent long enough surviving. Healing is not a destination. It is a journey. But this is your invitation to begin living.
Trauma-informed somatic work changes everything, because when you finally understand what has been happening beneath the surface, you stop fighting yourself. You start working with your body instead of against it. That shift is where healing truly begins.

When I first started my sessions, I honestly didnt know what to expect. I was soooo nervous and that made me uncomfortable, but after my first session, I fell in love!!
